Welcome to Snitches Get Stitches. By purchasing from or using our website, products, or services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Products & Handmade Nature

All items are handmade crochet products. Because each piece is made by hand, slight variations in size, color, and appearance may occur. These variations are not defects but part of the handmade process.

2. Orders & Payments

Full payment is required at the time of purchase. For commissions, a deposit determined by the provider, will be required before product production begins. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or product unavailability.

3. Custom & Commission Orders

Custom orders are final sale. Production will begin only after deposit payment is received. Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on workload and complexity. We will communicate any significant delays.

4. Processing & Shipping

Processing times vary because items are handmade. Estimated processing times will be listed on the product page or provided at the time of order. Once shipped, we are not responsible for carrier delays, lost, or stolen packages. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handmade and hygienic nature of our products, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect. If there is an issue with your order, contact us within 7-14 days of delivery with photos and order details.

6. Product Care

Customers are responsible for proper care of crochet items. Unless otherwise stated, items should be hand washed in cold water and laid flat to dry. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper care.

7. Safety Disclaimer

Some products may contain small parts or materials not suitable for young children or pets. Use products as intended. We are not liable for misuse.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, photos, logos, and content are the property of Snitches Get Stitches and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Commission Terms & Policies

Thank you for your interest in a custom crochet piece! Please read all policies before submitting a commission request.

Availability
Commissions are accepted in limited slots based on my workload. When all slots are filled, commissions will close until space becomes available again.

Deposit & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission slot and begin work. This deposit goes toward the final price of your piece.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the finished item is shipped or delivered.

Deposits are only refundable if I am unable to complete your commission for any reason.

Turnaround Time
All items are handmade by one person, so turnaround times may take several weeks depending on complexity and current workload. An estimated timeframe will be provided once your commission is accepted.

Communication Policy
Timely communication is required to complete your order. If I contact you with questions, updates, or approval requests, you must respond within 3–5 days.

If no response is received within this timeframe, your commission may be paused.
If there is still no response after an additional contact attempt, your order will be canceled.

Canceled orders due to lack of communication will not receive a refund of the deposit, as time and materials may have already been invested.

Changes & Cancellations
Small adjustments may be requested early in the process. Once significant work has begun, major changes may not be possible.
If you cancel your commission after work has started, the deposit will not be refunded.

Final Product
All items are handmade, so slight variations may occur. Colors may also vary slightly due to screen differences.
